Resorts Pool

Daydream Island is located in the Whitsunday Passage and only a very short ferry ride from Airlie Beach, Shute Harbour or Hamilton Island. It is one of the oldest resorts in the Whitsundays and has had a complete rebuild in the last decade. The island is themed around a wonderful health spa and its facilities for these services are second to none. If you are looking to be pampered and return home fully rejuvenated, then Daydream Island could be the place for you.

The accommodation on Daydream Island is in two main wings that have the main restaurants and day facilities in the center building, that joins these two accommodation wings together. Accommodation on each of these wings overlooks, either the swimming Pool, the gardens in the center of the resort, or the beautiful coastline of the island and the waters of the Whitsundays region depending on which side of the wing your room is situated. Accommodation standard is four star. Rooms include either a king size bed or two queen size beds. Air conditioning, remote control TV, satellite TV, and internet access are all standard. The Owner of the resort is Vaughn Bullivant whose previous business of manufacturing and sale of health foods was sold and the money then invested into the rebuild of this beautiful island resort.

Ocean View Room

There are several restaurants and bars for the convenience of guests. Mermaids restaurant is the largest. The swimming pool and resort facilities are brilliant and the spa rooms are top class. There are 14 treatment rooms, 2 vichy showers, thermal tables, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Excellent, fully trained staff service the spa rooms and appointments can be made at reception.

Like many of the other islands in the Whitsundays, Daydream Island is a popular wedding location. Specialist wedding planners are on staff to assist with your arrangements. There is a magnificent oceanfront chapel for the ceremony and a number of great locations for the reception and subsequent photo shoot.
